PAIA POLICY
1. Introduction
This manual is published in accordance with the requirements of the Promotion of Access to Information Act (PAIA), Act No. 2 of 2000. DaltronX is committed to upholding the constitutional right of access to any information held by a private body, as enshrined in the Constitution of South Africa, that is required for the exercise or protection of any rights.

3. Guide of the South African Human Rights Commission
The South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC) has compiled a guide containing such information as may be required by a person wishing to exercise or protect any rights. This guide is available from the SAHRC.
4. Categories of Records Held by DaltronX
- Personal Identifiers: Name, email address, phone number, physical address, and other contact details.
- Demographic Information: Age, gender, and language preferences.
- Usage Information: Browsing history, device information, and IP address.
- Correspondence: Communications with us, including customer support requests and feedback.
5. Request Procedure
To request access to records:
- Use the prescribed form available from the SAHRC website or the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development.
- Specify the records required in enough detail to enable the Information Officer to identify the requested record.
- Indicate the form of access required.
- Identify the right you are seeking to protect and provide an explanation of why the requested record is required for the exercise or protection of that right.
- Pay the prescribed fee (if applicable).
6. Availability of the Manual
This manual is available for inspection at our offices, free of charge, and a copy can be obtained from our Information Officer. It is also available on our website, daltronx.com.
7. Prescribed Fees
The PAIA provides for a request fee and an access fee, which must be paid by the requester. The applicable fees are prescribed in terms of the Act. Kindly refer to the Act and its regulations for the exact amounts.
8. Denial of Access
DaltronX retains the right to refuse access in cases where the disclosure would contravene the protection of personal information of a third party, as per the PAIA.
9. Updates to this Manual
DaltronX may update this manual from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the updated manual on our website or through other appropriate communication channels.
